Things I am Happy and content with.
I’m happy with the junk in the trunk, the straight hair, and the tiny little age spots.
There’s no chance for me to become pregnant.
I have learned to live in the moment.
All the worries about the future and the replaying of the past just distract from enjoying right now.
I finally learned that taking care of met is not selfish or egotistical or narcissistic.
It is self-preservation and self-care and I am worthy of being healthy and happy!
I finally love me, flaws and all, I am a work in progress.
I finally get that I do not need to apologize for staying true to my values.
I am learning to be a self-assured, confident, bold woman.
I have grown four children inside my body and raised them and they all graduated High school and I am still here I survived. LOL.
I first became a grandmother in 2003 and for 13 years I have loved being a grandmother.
As Luis Bunuel said “Age is something that doesn’t matter, unless you are a cheese.”
